The gas sensor developed by Keyestudio is specially designed to detect specific gas contents such as ethanol and tobacco.

The gas sensor developed by Keyestudio can detect formaldehyde, toluene, methane, ethanol and tobacco and is specially designed to detect specific gas contents. This sensor can detect any of the described components at more than 0.1 ppm. It is suitable for detecting various volatile organic compounds such as formaldehyde, benzene, methane, xylene and ethanol in the air.

To perform this measurement, the sensor has two pins A0 and D0. On the one hand, pin A0 represents the detection of another content, and the higher the content, the higher the analog value A0. On the other hand, pin D0 represents whether the gas content exceeds the zero limit, i.e. when it exceeds, the D0 level is a "high" level and when it does not exceed, D0 is "low".

Additionally, it is possible to adjust the zero limit value via the potentiometer on the rear.

This sensor has an LED to indicate if the gas content exceeds the set zero limit and comes with a 3.2mm diameter mounting hole, making it easy to mount to other devices. This Keyestudio sensor can be used with other microcontrollers, such as the Arduino microcontroller.
