Combustible Gas Sensor Module (MQ-6) for Arduino Keyestudio

The MQ-6 gas sensor has high sensitivity for detecting propane, methane, liquefied petroleum gas and natural gas. The material used in this sensor is SnO2. When there is combustible gas in the medium surrounding the sensor, the electrical conductivity of the sensor increases in proportion to the amount of gas. This change in electrical conductivity can be converted to the output signal corresponding to the gas concentration with just one circuit.

This sensor offers:

* good sensitivity to combustible gas over a wide range of concentrations;
* high sensitivity to propane, butane and liquefied petroleum gas;
* long duration at low cost;
* simple driver circuit.

May apply:

* in a domestic leak alarm;
* in an industrial-grade combustible gas alarm;
