Vigreux column

The vigreux column is a very important element of the fractional distillation apparatus. This column provides an external surface for heat exchange, causing the vapor that comes out of the boiling liquid to condense and evaporate.

At the same time, a heat exchange occurs continuously on the surface of the column between the cooler descending condensate and the hotter ascending vapor.

Made from tempered glass, this material is resistant to high temperatures, ensuring complete safety during laboratory activities.
