Composed of three cabinets with six shelves, in which cards with geometric figures are stored.

Cabinet I contains figures filled with cores, cabinet II - figures with thick contour, cabinet III - figures with thin contour.

In each cabinet, on the next shelves from the top, cards are placed: with circles, then with rectangles, with triangles, with quadrilaterals, with polygons, and the last shelf is occupied by rounded figures.

The activity with cabinets helps to associate the shape of the figures with their counterparts on the cards. It stimulates visual perception, consolidates knowledge of shapes and names of flat geometric figures and improves the ability to define their characteristic features.

  • 6 cards with wheels, dimensions 5 to 10 cm; 6 cards with rectangles, sides 10x10 cm to 5x10 cm, 6 cards with triangles: acute equilateral, acute isosceles, rectangular isosceles, rectangular equilateral, obtuse isosceles, polygonal obtuse;
  • 4 cards with quadrilaterals: rhombus, parallelogram, isosceles trapezoid, rectangular trapezoid; 6 cards with polygons: from pentagon to decagon;
  • 4 cards with rounded figures: spherical ellipsoid, oval, spherical triangle, clover (flower).
