Motion detector mockup
Motion detector model that emits an alert whenever it senses movement nearby. When it senses movement, it triggers an alarm and generates a sound. Supplied without 4.5 V battery.

The circuit is activated when the photoresistor detects a variation in light. Therefore, the detector must be connected in front of a wall or an illuminated surface. The advantage of this circuit is that it is completely independent of the light intensity. The optimum adjustment to the lighting conditions is carried out using the 1 MOhm potentiometer. A variation in brightness causes a change in the voltage at the input of the motion detector. This voltage is transmitted through the 2.2 μF capacitor, which switches on the Trigger-Schmitt circuit composed of transistors T1 and T2. The detection is announced by the illumination of an LED or by an audible signal from a buzzer.
