The gas sensor developed by Keyestudio is specially designed to detect specific gas contents such as CO2 and MOX.

This sensor developed by Keyestudio uses the CCS811 chip and is an ultra-low power miniature digital gas sensor that can detect a wide range of volatile organic compounds (TVOCs), including equivalent levels of carbon dioxide (eCO2) and metal oxide (MOX). Thus, equivalent carbon dioxide (CO2) is measured in the range of 400 to 29206 ppm (parts per million), while various volatile organic compounds (TVOC) range from 0 to 32768ppb (parts per billion).

On the other hand, its 3 mm diameter fixing hole helps to fix the sensor to other devices.
