The sensor that follows the line automatically
In the process of DIY assembling a smart car with sensor, line tracking sensors are generally used to make the smart car follow a line.

So, Keyestudio's 5-channel line tracking module is actually an infrared sensor. The component used is a TCRT5000 infrared tube.

Thus, the principle for its operation is basically to use the different reflectivity of infrared light for color, converting the intensity of the reflected signal into a current signal. During the detection process, black is active at the "high" level and white is active at the "low" level.

In addition, the module's detection height is 0-3 cm and it has two 3 mm fixing holes to facilitate mounting to other devices.
