Pair of tuning forks with resonance box and hammer

For demonstration of beat frequency production.

Composed of two nickel-plated A forks (440 Hz +-5%) mounted in individual boxes. 

A yoke is provided with adjustable mass by means of which the frequency can be deviated from the nominal 440 Hz.

When both forks sound, a clearly audible 'beat' is produced, its rate depending on the frequency difference between the forks.

  • 2 nickel-plated forks A (440 Hz), one of which can be adjustable;
  • 1 hammer.
