Power Board for BBC Micro:bit brings true portability to wearable projects. The sleek and lightweight PCB is designed to fit perfectly with the BBC micro:bit. Additionally, it features a built-in buzzer and a coin cell holder. 3V.

When assembled, the MI: power board is connected directly to the 3V, GND and P0 connections on the micro:bit. Then the 3V and GND connections supply power to the micro:bit and the internal buzzer is connected to P0, which is the default output pin when using the audio functions in the Block Editor software.

The board has an easy access power on/off switch , which makes it easy to power a project on and off, rather than having to disconnect the BBC micro:bit's power supply.

Once the unit is assembled and connected to the BBC microphone the mechanical fixings prevent the battery from being removed unless a screwdriver is used, so whatever you use the battery will remain securely in place.
